洁净室要获得良好的洁净效果，不仅要着重采取合理的空调净化措施，而且也要求工艺、建筑及其他专业采取相应的措施：不但要有合理的设计，而且还要精心的符合规范的施工安装，以及正确的使用洁净室和科学的维护管理。为使洁净室获得良好的效果，国内外已有不少文献从不同的角度作过阐述。

　　洁净室的气流组织与一般空调房间有所不同，它要求将干净的空气首先送到操作部位，它的作用在于限制和减少对加工物的污染。为此，在设计气流组织时应考虑这些原则:尽量减少涡流，避免将工作区以外的污染带入工作区;尽量防止灰尘的二次飞扬以减少灰尘对工件的污染机会;工作区的气流要尽量均匀，且其风速要满足工艺和卫生要求，当气流向回风口流动时要使空气中的灰尘能有效的带走。根据不同的洁净度要求，选择不同的送、回风方式。
